3 WEBSITES

I've updated my movie review site for the first time in about two months due to popular demand.  Alot of new ratings and an article about upcoming movies on the page called RANDOM.

Also, read the blog below about Lazër, the awesome new techno band from Rhineland!

And, my friend Jonny Cruz has a leading role in a movie that just came out on DVD called DEVON'S GHOST: LEGEND OF THE BLOODY BOY.  It's a suspense/action flick starring Karan Ashley & Johnny Yong Bosch, two former Power Rangers.  I won't tell you that this is a great movie...but you might find it entertaining...even if it's not by the intended means  Hey, support the little guys!

If you haven't heard of them already...you will.  If you haven't bought their CD already...you should.  If you wanna see their website...you can!

STAR WARS!

Well, I haven't updated this blog in about two and a half months so I felt compelled to write something.  If Star Wars wasn't such a widely accepted facet of American pop culture then posting this might come off as kinda geeky (go ahead, waste your time with some snide remark...I'll just delete it!) Ahem, ahem...well, some splendid friends and I just saw the 12:01am showing of Episode 3 and I gotta tell ya...for my money is was a darn good movie, most definitely the best of the prequel trilogy.  Very dark...meriting it's PG-13 rating.

I'm actually old enough to have seen Return of the Jedi (1983) in theaters (not to mention the other two prequels) so as a kid who grew up as a Star Wars fan (never went to a convention in my life however) this was a fulfilling experience.  You'll hear a bunch of different opinions and critiques from countless sources on why they thought it either sucked or ruled but judge for yourself.  Dialogue is a bit weak, of course, but that's not why you're there anyway.  And it might lag a little here and there towards the middle, but overall, the bottom line is...it's fun.  Here are my ratings for each episode, which I admit are a little sentimental...

Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (Stars)

Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (3 Stars)

Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith (Stars)

Episode 4: A New Hope (4 Stars)

Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back (4 Stars) (PROBABLY THE BEST OF THE FILMS...)

Episode 6: Return of the Jedi (4 Stars)                                  (... BUT MY PERSONAL FAVORITE)

OTHER WEBSITE

So I used to update this site semi-regularly, but then I got lazy.  Well, I updated the other day for the first time in almost a year.  It's a movie review/rating site if you're interested in that sort of thing.

NEW PROJECT

We are officially in pre-production for a new movie.  I finished a first draft of the script and have started making revisions.  And we're already starting the casting process by having people come in and read for us.  Right now it looks like it's going to be another feature length project, probably between 70 and 80 minutes.  For those of you who saw COMPULSION you should know that this movie will be absolutely nothing like it!  But you will most likely see some familiar faces.

It's a dramady...basically, a comedy that knows how to be serious at appropriate times.  It's also an ensemble piece, meaning that it will revolve around ten central characters in five storylines.  If by some chance you are an actor or actress and this sounds intriguing to you there will be open casting calls for some of the parts, big and small.
